Adam Rankin is a photographer based in Toronto, Ontario. Born Edmonton, 1977. He holds a degree in Visual Communication from the University of Alberta. His art projects are simultaneously playful and foreboding, combining the worlds of advertising and art history in an attempt to figure out just where, in pop-culture, he fits in. His commercial clients include Timberland, VISA, Adidas, and The Heart & Stroke Foundation and in 2010 PhotoLife Magazine featured his work among the "top 5 trend setters of the year”.
